1. Overview

A normal network connection should display the 4G icon, the SIM card triangle icon, and signal bars, as shown below.

2. Check Baseband Version

To diagnose the 4G network issue on your IM25 PAX Reader, follow these steps:

  1. Return to the PAX Reader home screen.

 2. Access the Settings menu:

  • Tap Settings.

 3. Check the Baseband Version:

  • Navigate to "About device" → "Android version" → "Baseband version".
    If you can see the Baseband Version, it means that the 4G module is correctly installed on your PAX reader. If not, please refer to Issue A in Section 3.

    3. Common Issues When IM25 Has No 4G Signal

    Check for Network Indicators

    Look at the top-right corner of the screen and verify the presence of the following icons:
    ✔ 4G icon
    ✔ SIM card triangle icon
    ✔ Signal bars

    If any of these icons are missing or showing a weak/no signal, proceed with the troubleshooting steps in the next section.
