1. Prerequisites
Before proceeding, ensure the following:
✅ The device is powered on and connected to a power source.
✅ The Wi-Fi network is available and has internet access.
✅ You have the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.
2. Steps to Connect to Wi-Fi
Step 1: Exit the Current Application
To access the device settings, you first need to return to the PAX home screen.

Step 2: Access Wi-Fi Settings

Open the Settings menu.

Enter the password: pax9876@@ to access the settings.

Select Wi-Fi.
Step 3: Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

The device will scan for available Wi-Fi networks.

Select the correct Wi-Fi SSID (network name).

Enter the Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard.

Double-check for uppercase, lowercase, and special characters.

Confirm the connection and wait for the device to connect.

Once successfully connected, a Wi-Fi icon will appear at the top of the screen.
4. Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If the Connection Fails:
🔹 Verify that the Wi-Fi password is correct.
🔹 Test the Wi-Fi network with another device to confirm it is working.
🔹 Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong.
🔹 Restart the card reader and try again.
🔹 Check the router security settings—some enterprise Wi-Fi networks may require additional configurations.
🔹 Try connecting to another Wi-Fi network to rule out router issues.
If the Wi-Fi Connects but No Internet Access:
🔹 Test other devices on the same network to check for internet connectivity.
🔹 Try switching to a different Wi-Fi network and see if the issue persists.
5. Resetting Wi-Fi Settings
If you need to reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection, follow these steps:

Go to Network or Wi-Fi settings.

Select Forget Network.

Re-scan available networks and re-enter the Wi-Fi password to reconnect.
