- EVA: Short for European Vending Association.
- EVA-DTS: Data Transfer Standard - NEW VERSION 6.1 AVAILABLE developed by the EVA Standards Committee in close cooperation with the North American Vending Association, NAMA. EVA-DTS including two protocols: DDCMP and DEX/UCS.
- DEX: Short for DEX/UCS, our remote monitoring function based on this protocol.
- VMC: Vending Machine Controller or vending machine mother board.
- DTU: Data terminal unit, Back 2 Base system uses a standard DTU to read audit data from VMC through DEX Protocol. And upload the data to server through GPRS/3G network.
- GPRS: GSM Packet Radio Services
- HTTP: Hyper Text Transfer Protocol IP Internet Protocol
- XML: Extensible Markup Language vOpen Cashless Communications Protocol
- ROUTE: A route is the group of machines that an operator might visit on a day to day basis for restocking or cash collection purposes.
- Location: A location is the place in which you machines are installed, like a Shopping Centre or factory.
- Vend: A vend refers to one individual item sold.
- B2B: Back to base vending machine monitoring system.
- UPC: The Universal Product Code is a barcode zymology, that is widely used for tracking trade items in stores. The barcode is found on the item you are selling and has a number underneath the barcode as well.
