  1. EVA: Short for European Vending Association
  2. EVA-DTSData Transfer Standard - NEW VERSION 6.1 AVAILABLE developed by the EVA Standards Committee in close cooperation with the North American Vending Association, NAMA. EVA-DTS including two protocols:  DDCMP and DEX/UCS.
  3. DEX: Short for DEX/UCS, our remote monitoring function based on this protocol.
  4. VMC: Vending Machine Controller or vending machine mother board.
  5. DTU: Data terminal unit, Back 2 Base system uses a standard DTU to read audit data from VMC through DEX Protocol. And upload the data to server through GPRS/3G network.

  7. HTTP: Hyper Text Transfer Protocol IP Internet Protocol

  9. ROUTE: A route is the group of machines that an operator might visit on a day to day basis for restocking or cash collection purposes.
  10. Location: A location is the place in which you machines are installed, like a Shopping Centre or factory.
  11. Vend: A vend refers to one individual item sold.
  12. B2B: Back to base vending machine monitoring system.
  13. UPC: The Universal Product Code  is a barcode zymology, that is widely used for tracking trade items in stores. The barcode is found on the item you are selling and has a number underneath the barcode as well.
